Orientation week and RMW at the Faculty of LIFE Sciences, Copenhagen

Between 21st and 26th of August the majority of the Batch 2 and Batch 3 students attended the orientation week and Research Methodology Workshop at the Faculty of LIFE Sciences, Copenhagen University.

LIFE University opened its doors to receive the new students selected to the AM program and the second year students. This very ancient and beautiful university was the frame in which the Orientation week and the Research Methodology Workshop took place.
It was great to meet again the students with whom we had a nice and intensive week of work last year in Montpellier, but also to know the new faces joining the program this year.
The main goals of the orientations week were: for Batch 1 to introduce them to their new program, their training tracks, and the life in the M1 universities, and for Batch 2, to present
the Thesis Proposal Projects. We also had a joint excursion to a Cooperative Organic Danish Farm, and an excursion to meet the Vestergard (Conventional Farming Company) and its owner
who showed us around.
It was a very intensive week in which Klaus and Henning from LIFE University really took care of all the details, for which the students are kindly grateful for their job!
Copenhagen is a very modern and touristic city, that offered us all its variety (museums, architecture, squares, meetings points, gastronomy and traditional neighborhoods),
and it show us also its weather spoiled (caprichoso).
Next year we will see again to repeat this experience in Catania, Italy or Montpellier, France.
